I love the way a dark colored nail looks against a lighter colored outfit. There's just something about the combination that makes me feel so regal and elegant. As I have been out and about in the retail world, I’ve been seeing all of these really cute white (or other light colors) fall/winter pieces. And while there is some rule or something about Labor Day and the color white, I say, disregard it. White or any other light color of clothing, can really just tie an outfit together in ways a darker color just can’t. In the past, WAY in the past, being able to wear white meant that you had money. Why? Because white gets dirty really quickly so you had to pay someone to maintain those pieces of clothing for you. So for me, a white or lighter colored outfit with a dark nail is what I am wearing when I want to look my absolute best.

Imagine... you’re at a party and across the room you see a woman wearing, perhaps, an all white outfit. First, you are going to be frustrated because you can’t wear white out in public without getting a stain on it. (this may or may not be aimed towards me.. Haha.) Then, after moving past that feeling of jealousy, you notice the way the darker color of her nails are just amplified against the white color of her dress. I notice these things. And if I notice these things, there are sure to be many others that do as well. 

The last shade of this collection, to me, is the perfect color for any fall winter color palette. “Artistic Moves”, is a purple with a side of DRAMA! The dark, rich tone is going to go great with your best, and cleanest white (or light colored) outfit, making your nails the center of attention!

The BreakOut Beauty Collection is probably one of the best fall collections I’ve ever seen. All of the colors offer so much versatility as to what you are able to pair with them. I know that when most of us are going to go get our nails done for an event we do not go the day of, so choosing a color at the salon can be tricky if you’re trying to make it match an outfit you have to wear in 3 days time. This collection makes it so easy because you can’t go wrong with any of these shades. I hope that by seeing the outfits or pieces that I would pair with these shades might help you when you all are planning your holiday outfits!
